The U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), located at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, is a vital hub for military medical training and education. As part of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and one of the Army’s Centers of Excellence, MEDCoE envisions, designs, and trains the Army’s medical force to ensure readiness and excellence.

With over 360 training and education programs, MEDCoE instructs nearly 30,000 students annually, ranging from enlisted soldiers in initial entry training to officers pursuing advanced medical education.
