Martial Arts an Ancestral Healing System?

YES!!! Martial Arts is an ancestral healing system. According to some scholars, Kung Fu was originally developed as a healing practice more specifically self-help methods developed by Shaolin Monks practicing Shaolin Kung Fu. In fact some practitioners believe that Shaolin Kung Fu is the same as Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) and its primary use is for health and self development with fighting skills as a secondary result of practicing Kung Fu.
Shaolin TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is divided into internal and external types. Internal medicine focuses on strengthening muscles and bones. External medicine focuses on relaxing muscles, reducing pain and diminishing the aging process. Shaolin Qigong, usually practiced in conjunction with Shaolin Kung Fu, focuses on defeating illnesses, promotes health by strengthening the body, engaging mental focus while promoting vitality and longevity.
Shaolin Kung Fu practiced with Shaolin Qigong promotes balances yin and yang, promotes a balanced meridian flow, regulates energy and blood which ultimately reduces blood pressure, reduces diabetes, assists with improving vision, smoothing the nervous system and assists with brain challenges including memory.
If you are looking for contact physical activity that offers you an ancestral healing system we recommend you do some research on martial arts. Doing those Kung Fu moves may be more beneficial than you think!

Climate Change, Tropical Diseases from Home and Travel: By APYArte

As our world continues to undergo climate change we look for ancestral, cultural, native and indigenous health practices that will keep us healthy and strong. It also helps to know these health practices when traveling as we find ourselves limited in carry on bags and allopathic medication that may not be approved for use at our final destination.
So, I’ve compiled some “quick fixes” to help you with some ailments you may be experiencing. When I traveled to Vietnam and India I made sure I had the bark of the Cinchona tree along with the leaves and bark of the mango tree to make a daily tisane to help against malaria. There are increases in intestinal worms and parasites due to close contact with mascots, unclean water and improper hygiene habits. Eating papaya seeds whole or ground if your discomfort is intense has also been a traditional remedy. I tend to use chopped neem leaves in my salad which also helps combat parasites and helps prevent dengue. Neem and dried annatto seeds infused in oil, specifically castor oil, helps with skin conditions. As a young child, I remember my aunt putting annatto infused olive oil on me as sunscreen. It also gives your skin a nice healthy glow, however if you are fair skinned you may end up looking a little orange. Annatto seeds, leaves and lemongrass tisane helps bring down fevers and colds. For a boost of positive energy, have some green tea combined with any of the following herbs: jasmine, chrysanthemum, lotus, or rose so that your Yin and Yang will be better balanced. Fungal infection (like Sporotichosis a series ailment) which can be spread by contaminated plant matter and cats, can be treated along with allopathic medicine with a neem, turmeric coconut oil paste and if the itching is very discomforting fresh aloe vera gel from a mature plant can be soothing. Remember to consult with your alternative health practitioner if you plan on using these remedies for more than a “quick fix.” If trying them and you have any discomfort discontinue use immediatley and contact your preferred medical advisor.
APYArte Inc.’s mission is to disseminate information from an ancestral, cultural, native indigenous healing perspective. Please share, post and send out your list. We are looking for volunteers to keep you informed on aspects that can change your life for the better. One little step at a time. Thanks for your assistance. https://www.apyarte.com/?page_id=644
