I know nowadays there are many calendar apps, so we don’t have to write the date down often. But this does mean that it’s easy to forget the rules for writing dates in different places.
Did you know ? Months and days are proper nouns, so they start with an initial capital. Example Monday and December.
Let's have our next conversation about the date standard for international c o m m u n i c a t i o n.
So how do you write a date ? what format for date do you follow?
Did you know ? The system numbers the hours from 00:00 hours (midnight) to 23:59. It always uses at least 4 digits. And there are more than 24 time zones. However more than 60% of the countries in the world use standard time all year.
Well there is a lot more to talk about. There are few patterns and formats around the rest of the world, the most common format is day/month/year (e.g., in the UK and Australia). A few places also use a year/month/day format (e.g., China), but this is very rare in English.
See you soon to get to know your side of opinion English4Mates
Take care.

Someone's eyes can tell you a lot about them specially the colour of their eyes can tell you a bit about their genetics.
So what colour are your eyes ?
Did you know that only less than 1% of the world population has G R A Y eyes ?
Do you know anyone ?
These eyes are more common in people from northern and eastern Europe.
Next, G R E E N eyes which has existence in around 2% of global population.
Another colour which can be H A Z E L, well according to a survey people that have these eyes mostly come from places like Brazil. Those with Spanish heritage and those from the middle east are more likely to inherit this eye color.
Ofcourse B R O W N eyes are the most common throughout the world. Aprox between 50 to 80 percent of people globally. People with brown eyes are mostly African, Asian, Native American, and have Hispanic heritage.
How about B L U E eyes ?
Yes only 8 to 10%
The most blue-eyed people include Denmark, Estonia, and Sweden. Like with hazel eyes, there is a variation of blue as well.
People who live close to the equator usually have darker eyes whereas those further away have lighter eyes.
Discovering/talking more about Humans (ourselves) as a topic of English speaking for my lessons are always my favourite ones.
I invite you to suggest me more open topics to talk and share, in terms of improving your communications skills.
