Some restaurants chase trends. Akademia Restauracja has spent more than 15 years quietly setting the standard.

During the week, it’s one of those places where Warsaw’s business crowd naturally gathers: polished service, calm atmosphere, conversations that don’t feel rushed.
But Akademia also knows how to impress at the table.

Standouts this season:

• pesto risotto finished tableside in a wheel of cheese
• delicate sandacz with impossibly soft potatoes
• classic pierogi and crisp de volaille
• addictive nori salmon with homemade teriyaki and wasabi mayonnaise
• rhubarb tart with yogurt ice cream

The interiors, decorated with Andrzej Pągowski’s artwork, give the restaurant a distinctly Polish character without feeling overly formal.

And on weekends, Akademia changes pace entirely, welcoming families while dedicated animators keep children entertained.

Few places manage this balance so effortlessly.
