🥾Walking in the mountains 🏔️ in winter is one of the most epic experiences you can have.

🚉 I took a night train from Warszawa Centralna to Poronin to reach the village of Ząb near Zakopane. The train left at 23:23 and, due to a delay, I arrived in Poronin at 7:02.

It was still dark when I started the 6 km hike, and I finally arrived at 10:30 😆🫣

I was supposed to take a simple path through the village, but it looked like there might be a shortcut… After a few meters walking through deep snow and ice, I realized it was a bad idea to go through the mountains—but I didn’t want to turn back.

Many people have visited this magical city before me, and many will visit after me. I don’t know what it is about this place, but it feels like it’s drawing me in.

I think the most unique part about Prague is how close the Czech Republic is—something I never truly appreciated. Having lived in Poland my whole life, I was unaware of how many amazing places were just a 20-euro ticket and a short train ride away.

What fascinates me most about this city is the abundance of viewpoints. Almost every part of Prague looks like an old town, making it feel magical everywhere you go. There are so many incredible little streets to explore, each with its own charm, and also a caffe with served purple coffee ☕️🍵
