Через війну економіка України сильно страждає. За підрахунками Світового банку, лише у 2022 році:
- ВВП впаде на 35-45%,
- інфляція зросте до 15%,
- частка населення, що живе за межею бідності, зросте з 1,8% до 19,8%.

Нещодавно Європейський Союз, Велика Британія та Канада зняли всі ввізні мита на українські товари. Це означає, що українську продукцію тепер легше експортувати до цих країн.

👉 Якщо ви власник бізнесу і шукаєте нові ринки збуту товарів - подумайте про встановлення партнерських відносин з бізнесом країн ЄС, Великої Британії чи Канади та експортуйте українську продукцію.

👉 Якщо ви споживач - купуйте українські товари, підтримуйте таким чином малий та середній бізнес. Вироблений в Україні продукт можна розпізнати за номером на штрих-коді. Український номер - 482.

Due to the war, Ukraine’s economy is suffering tremendously. It is estimated by the World Bank that only in 2022:
- GDP will fall by 35-45%,
- inflation will rise to 15%,
- share of the population living below the poverty line will increase from 1.8% to 19.8%.

Recently, the European Union, Great Britain, and Canada have removed all import duties on Ukrainian goods. This means that Ukrainian products can now be exported easier to those countries.

👉 If you are a business owner and you are looking for new markets to get the goods from - consider establishing partnerships with Ukrainian businesses and import Ukrainian products.

👉 If you are a customer - consider buying Ukrainian products if you see them in stores. You can recognise the goods produced in Ukraine by the number on the bar-code. Ukraine's number is 482.

Thanks to all the participants of the third round table within the New Dawn initiative that took place yesterday on the topic of "Institutional development of Ukraine in light of the EU integration". Together with Christopher Hartwell, Volodymyr Vakhitov, and Yevhen Dubohryz, we had some excellent points raised. First of all, we talked about the history of institutions in Ukraine and the property rights as an important indicator of well-functioning institutions. Second, we have discussed the decentralization reform and how local communities could efficiently organise their activities during the war thanks to it. Finally, we have made an outlook of the banking and financial system’s stability during and after the war and discussed its compliance with the EU standards.
