s an exam that included drawing and that I had art-related classes. TBH, I mostly drew trees - or painted them with watercolours. I’m not sure, though, whether I drew even one tree or used watercolours since I finished studies. Just so you know, I don’t think education matters THAT much - I basically don’t use mine. I trained my hand mostly by doodling during phone calls and work meetings. Jack-of-all-trades - AKA - an octopus - AKA - a multipotentialite. I tend to get interested in many fields. I usually get obsessed with one or two topics. So far I dipped my mind into, among others:

photography (I even attended a 2-year long course, after which I lost all interest)
capoeira (8 years - can you believe?)
samba (playing, not dancing - I still intend to come back after a year long hiatus)

When it comes to arts & crafts (and I’m not ashamed of that term), I already did a collection of glass cabochons with my own graphics, seedbead necklaces, wooden earrings, resin… everything. Now I’m mostly exploring visual arts, mixing media and following a question: Does Everything Has To Be Something? (In other words: I’m creating abstract art which is as far from any figurativeness, as possible.) I’m a proud octopus. As my friend says: all the tentacles are connected with one head. I can mix and match all the things that I learned in different fields and create something new. I trust myself and I trust my inspiration - it won’t fail me. I’m a neurotic. This is an old school name for a Highly Sensitive Person. It comes with its ups (creativity, sensitivity, attention to details) and downs (a tendency to feeling overwhelmed by surroundings, which can lead to anxiety and depressive states). I’m on a journey of embracing my own, difficult personality, and I discovered, that making things, creating stuff helps a lot. I want to share that with people, because I believe that my own struggles can help others discover their own creativity and maybe fight their own dragons. I don’t believe in a talent - practice is all there is (and I suck at it). I believe in letting go - a quality that’s so natural in children, but so difficult to achieve by adults. I believe in intuitive art. I’m a baby steps ambassador. You are cordially invited to follow my journey.
