Die Aktion FLOATING DEAD geht weiter. HÖRT HIN! Morgen werden die Rufe, der Geflüchteten auf dem Mittelmeer, in Berlin zu hören sein!

Die bei der Aktion FLOATING DEAD benutzten Schwimmwesten wurden auf dem sogenannten Friedhof der Schwimmwesten auf Le**os gesammelt.

In der Berliner Malzfabrik ist derzeit die Installation „BIBLIOTHEK“ des Künstlers von Andreas Mayer-Brennenstuhl mit 500 Rettungswesten aus Le**os zu besichtigen. Die Leihgabe der städtischen Museen Heilbronn ist Teil der Ausstellung „Post aus Le**os“.

"Actors in protective suits pull in life vests made to look like corpses in a live-streamed event to bring awareness to the plight of refugees seeking to cross the Mediterranean by boat from North Africa to reach the European Union in Berlin, Germany. The event, called The Floating Dead, shines a critical light on the role of Frontex, the EU border agency, and is coinciding with today's anniversary of Germany's constitution, the Basic Law, in German called the Grundgesetz."
