Israel to take part in African Lion 2025 military exercise

Morocco is set to host the 21st edition of the African Lion military exercise this week, in coordination with the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM). The multinational drills are expected to involve over 10,000 troops from approximately 40 nations — including participation from Israel.

Algeria has withdrawn from the military drill following confirmation that Israeli forces will be participating.
