Rzeka Todd płynie!
Czasem zdarza się to raz na parę lat i staje prawdziwym wydarzeniem w Alice Springs, kiedy tłumy zbierają się na brzegach tej zwykle suchej rzeki aby podziwiać to niezwykłe zjawisko.
Zawsze chciałem to zobaczyć "na żywo", własnymi oczami, ale trudno jakoś się wpasować w kalendarz natury.
Zresztą, granice Australii dla przybyszów z zewnątrz wciąż są zamknięte...

W tym roku można sobie tylko powspominać.
I pomarzyć.
Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, Australia
Each time I am traveling along the Cape York Peninsula to the northernmost tip of the Australian continent I try to recall or learn all the names of the numerous rivers and creeks I have to cross with my truck. Once I was even making some notes but I lost motivation somewhere in the middle of my journey north. You can count them without doubt but there are so many other more interesting chores and events on the way that keeping a record of creeks does not seem to be what adventurers like most. Nevertheless, after having been driving the track already something like four times I am able to identify and name most of the watercourse crossings just after having a glimpse at a random picture. This one, however, is a puzzle for me. I can recall nither its name nor location.
Can anybody help me? 😎
