Definitely the hardest day of pole vaulting I’ve ever had in my life. Never thought I’d have to jump 5.85 twice in the same meet but it happened today. Had a jump off for 2nd place today so we’re going to the World champs in Poland.
Thanks so much to Grove for coaching me once again at a USA champs. Couldn’t have done it without your insight!

I’m grateful to make the team once again and proud to consistently clear 5.80+. At the same time, I believe it’s unfortunate that it had to come down to a jump off that resulted in a talented, deserving athlete not making the team to represent the US in Poland. The jump-off was something we handled because we had to but I hope we can take a look at the selection process moving forward.
