It was all supposed to be different.

I’d been counting down the days to this vacation after months of hard work — dreaming of active time in beautiful surroundings.

And yet… here I am, heading home after battling an infection, exhausted and a bit heartbroken.

Still, it was beautiful. The Canary Islands — my first time, but definitely not the last. I’m taking some memories with me, and I’ll be back. 😊
