Today I would like to tell you a bit more about batik I made for BATIK SHIRT PROJECT.
To create each pattern I hand painted it with beeswax - I use traditional indonesian tool called canting, which helps me to do it precise.
Later I dye each textile in natural indigo vat. And at the end of the process I boil batik in the hot water in order to remote the wax. Taa daan! 💙

It's beautiful when the lines of the batik textile can tune with the shapes and curves of the body.
