✨ Quiet textures. Natural rhythm. Thoughtful design.
Designers searching for Japandi-inspired solutions keep asking for something that feels minimal, but still has soul. Something subtle, but not flat. Something warm, but still contemporary.
And this is exactly where MAPAO comes in!
Hand-finished wooden modules create a soft 3D movement on the wall - a rhythm you can feel, not just see. Each pattern in the series was designed to bring a different type of flow: gentle waves, structured lines, quiet geometry.
Combine them vertically or horizontally, play with scale, repeat or mix - MAPAO adapts to the mood you want your space to express.
Choose between Oak, Ash, or American Walnut, each introducing its own character and depth. Natural oil finishes highlight the grain, keeping the look organic, warm and timeless - a perfect match for the understated elegance of the Japandi aesthetic.
If your next project calls for soft minimalism, natural warmth and sculptural detail, MAPAO is ready.
Let your walls speak softly - but beautifully. 🌿

How many different ways can one wall be designed? 🤔
With FLOW, the answer is: as many as you can imagine.
This collection was created to give architects and interior designers full creative freedom. Three distinctive panel shapes open the door to countless compositions – each one changing the rhythm, depth, and character of the space. ✨
Depending on the layout, FLOW can feel calm and balanced, bold and dynamic, or completely unexpected. It adapts to the idea, not the other way around.
The combinations you see here are only a small selection of what is possible. Every arrangement is just a starting point for something new. 🌿

Forget the catalogs. Let’s talk about your "impossible" walls. 📐🤝
One of our biggest takeaways from Milan wasn't just about showing our products - it was about the challenges you brought to our booth.
We decided to skip the usual brochure-handing routine. Instead, we spent six days deep in conversation with architects from all over the world.
What did we talk about?
The walls that "defied" standard solutions.
Visions that lacked the right tools for ex*****on.
Intricate details that other manufacturers were too afraid to touch.
It turns out that what you value most isn't just a beautiful product, but a partner who says: "Yes, we can make that work."
These conversations are the fuel for our next developments. To everyone who stopped by to share a sketch, a challenge, or a vision - thank you. We’re already working on the solutions we discussed.
Have a challenging project on your desk right now? Drop us a DM - let’s see how we can bring it to life. 🪵✨

Curves, warmth, and the power of touch. 🪵🌿
Salone del Mobile 2026 has made it clear: the era of sharp, cold interiors is officially behind us. Walking through the halls in Milan, we saw a consistent direction that feels like home to us.
What’s shaping interiors right now?
🟠 Organic flow: Hard angles are out. Soft arches, waves, and fluid silhouettes are in. It’s all about creating a sense of movement and "rhythm" on the walls.
🟠 The palette of Earth: We’re seeing a massive return to warmth. Think burnt cinnamon, terracotta, honey oaks, and the deep, chocolate tones of American Walnut.
🟠 Sensory experience: Design is no longer just for the eyes. Architects are looking for materials that invite you to touch them and that "soften" the atmosphere of a room - both visually and physically.
At FORM AT WOOD, we’ve always believed that wood is the ultimate "human-centric" material. Seeing these trends dominate the world’s biggest stage confirms that we are exactly where we need to be.
Which trend speaks to you most this year?
