Hola from Valencia! ⚓

From March 3–5, we are taking part in I Congreso Nacional del Sector Portuario, held in Valencia – one of the key events for the Spanish port sector, organised by Puertos del Estado with the collaboration of Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia.

We are pleased to see Wulkan Energy – our Spanish joint venture combining the expertise of BPR ASE GROUP and RPOW – participating not only as an industry representative, but also as a partner.

During the congress, representatives of the joint venture – Carlos Lasheras and Ángel Martínez Quesada – are meeting with key stakeholders from the port and energy sectors to exchange insights on decarbonisation and maritime energy systems.

👉 As Wulkan Energy, we develop growth strategies and comprehensive business plans for Onshore Power Supply (OPS) solutions. Our combined teams bring practical experience in this area – including acting as project leader for the implementation of OPS systems in the Port of Gdańsk.

👉 One of the projects where we can provide end-to-end support is the potential implementation of OPS at the inland port in Sevilla as part of the HYDEA initiative.

The congress creates an important platform for dialogue on the next generation of sustainable port infrastructure.

Hola from Huelva! 💚

Last week, we had the pleasure of following one of the most important hydrogen industry events in Spain - Congreso Nacional Hidrógeno Verde, held in Huelva.

During the congress, representatives of WulkanEnergy - our Spanish joint venture combining the expertise of BPR ASE GROUP and RPOW - César Martín Montalvo Sánchez, Carlos Lasheras
and Andrés Barros Borrero, actively participated in discussions and meetings with key players from the green hydrogen market.

The event once again demonstrated how dynamically the hydrogen sector is developing in Southern Europe and how important international cooperation is in building a mature and scalable market. The congress created space for exchanging experiences, discussing technological and regulatory challenges, and exploring real development directions for hydrogen projects in the coming years.
