r family earned great respect among the community of Mango growers, when he introduced unique varieties of mangoes. Portion of Ammer Chamman (orchard cultivated by him) still exists near Bahauddin Zakria university, Multan despite urbanization of the area. He had three sons, Malik Haq Nawaz Mahay, Malik Sarfraz Mahay and Malik Allah Yar Mahay. Malik Sarfraz Mahay lead the family after the death of Malik Ameer Bakhsh Mahay and actively participated in the local politics of the area. He also focused on the education of his two sons and sent them to join Pakistan Army. The elder son Malik Nasir Ali Mahay quitted Army service and opted to get into politics. He closely worked with various party leaders including Yusuf Raza Gillani, former Prime Minister. He remained District Chairman Zakat Committee Multan during era of Pervaiz Musharaf. During the Yousuf Raza Gillani's era, after being disappointed from the leadership, he joined Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf and also contested general Election 2013 from PP 200 Multan. Name of younger son of Malik Sarfraz Mahay is Qaiser Ali Haider Mahay, who is presently Brigadier in Pakistan Army. Malik Allahyar Mahay also has two sons and a daughter. His elder son Malik Saleem raza Mahay is a lawyer by profession and is presently looking after agriculture affairs of family. His brother Imran Mahay is on the teaching faculty of Multan Public School. Malik HaqNawaz mahay had three sons. Malik Qasim and Malik Ghulam Abbas Mahay are in agriculture and their brother Malik MAzhar Mahay expired couple of years back.
