stan through revolving livestock model including goat farming, poultry farming and kitchen gardening. Chronically poor households are identified and offered 3 goats and 10 poultry for farming along with seeds for organic kitchen gardening. Members of the household are trained on goat farming, poultry farming and kitchen gardening in collaboration with District Agriculture Extension Department and District Poultry Department. In a time span of 18 months 5 goat off-springs and 15 poultry birds are recovered from each household and transferred to the households in the next cycle making this model self sustainable. The produce which includes goat milk, eggs, organic chicken, mutton and organic vegetables are collected from the households. After grading and packaging it is sold in the market with our brand name with all the producers being the direct shareholders of AMDEN. So in this way even after the recovery from the households they become life long suppliers of their produce for AMDEN. Beside this after project cycle the beneficiary households have 14 animals, 37 poultry birds and regular fresh and hygienic food available at their houses.
