Node.js Developer with Sails.js experience required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We're looking for someone with 2-6 years (Node is only 3 years old) experience with NodeJS development. Our stack includes popular modules such as Expressjs, Sailsjs, as well as using MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data stores.
We are a mobile only company, but have a very service oriented architecture. A good fit for this role will be someone who really loves creating APIs in JSON format. Working with the team to create these APIs for the Close5 client applications (iOS, Android, Web.) We strive to code efficiently and abstract services where it makes sense. This allows us to move fast with new features or change old features based on user feedback.
Experience working with location data (lattitude/longitude), and push notifications is a big plus!

Senior PHP Developer - Symfony2 required
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in web application development
Superb OOP skill in PHP5.3 w/ Namespaces
Proficiency with a PHP framework ( ideally Symfony 2.x )
Proficiency with MySQL, RDMS, schema design and an ORM (either Doctrine or Propel)
Proficiency with jQuery and experience with a variety of jQuery plugins
Proficiency with one or more Linux distribution ( ideally Ubuntu )
Working knowledge of Apache and how to configure it
Experience with so many APIs that you couldn't possibly list them all
Experience with Amazon S3 or some other CDN
Knowledge of cloud hosting solutions
Experience with Git
Ability to work efficiently in the office or remote with detailed specs as well as with very little direction.
Confidence to ask the right people the right questions when it is the optimal thing to do.
A bucket list of technologies you would like to explore when you have the time and opportunity
Bonus Skills:
Intimate knowledge of the travel and timeshare industries
Symfony2, Doctrine, Twig, Twitter Bootstrap, Assetic, Backbone.js, SaSS CSS, Shell scripting
Working knowledge of Drupal 7 or 8
Experience doing performance tuning of software, DB calls, caching layers, server configurations, etc
An intimate understanding of SEO best practices
