Wondering what your 1-year-old's eating and sleeping schedule *might* look like? Here's a sample daily schedule for a 1-year-old... though keep in mind that every child is different and not all tots will follow this daily routine — and that's totally fine too! Some might wake at 5am (see a post that I did about what to do with early wakeups), others might need to eat or sleep earlier or later, while still others may follow this basic outline but be off by 30 minutes here and 45 minutes there. You know your little one best, so adapt this sample schedule to your individual child's temperament and needs.

Roasted Cauliflower Steak Nourish Bowl
Recipe:
Roasted Cauliflower Steaks:
- 1 head of cauliflower (about 600g roughly)
- 1tsp onion granules
- 1tsp garlic granules
- 1/2tsp smoked paprika
- 2tsp nutritional yeast
- olive oil
- pumpkin seeds/sunflower seeds or both (optional)
- crushed sea salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley for garnish.
Method: .
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/400F/gas mark 6. Line a high sided baking tray with nonstick baking parchment.
2. Slice the cauliflower lengthways into thick slices using a large knife, then place them onto the baking tray.
3. Drizzle the cauliflower steaks with a little olive oil until all sides of the cauliflower steaks are saturated.
4. Add all the dry seasonings into a small bowl including the salt and pepper, then mix well until fully combined.
5. Sprinkle the seasoning all over the cauliflower steaks on all sides until evenly coated.
6. Cover the baking tray with tin foil and bake in the oven for 6mins, then take off the foil. Sprinkle the cauliflower steaks with seeds, then place back into the oven for a further 10-15 mins.
7. Turn them over halfway through cooking time so both sides are crisp. Garnish with the chopped parsley and enjoy!

CRISPY GARLIC & CHEESE CAULIFLOWER CAKES w/ AVOCADO CREMA
1 small head of cauliflower (about 16 oz), cut into florets • 1-2 cloves garlic • 1/3 cup feta, crumbled 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded • 2 T. coconut flour (may sub 4 T. all purpose flour flour) • 2 large eggs • 2 T. basil, chopped • salt & pepper, to taste • Avocado oil for pan-frying.
1) Working in two batches, pulse the cauliflower + garlic in a food processor until it resembles rice. 2) Transfer cauliflower/garlic to a steaming basket and steam for abouit 3 minutes, until tender. 3) Transfer to a large bowl and let cool for 2 minutes. Add cheese, flour, eggs, basil, and salt and pepper. Mix until combined. 4) Gently form into patties and pan-fry in oil in 2 teaspoons oil, until golden on each side.
Avocado Crema: 1 avocado • 1/4 cup greek yogurt or sour cream • 2 tablespoons cilantro (or basil) •
1/2 tablespoon avocado oil (to thin — optional) • juice of half lemon • salt + pepper to taste • 1. Blend all ingredients till smooth.
