Red Sea International Airport (RSI) has commenced its inaugural international flights, with flydubai operating the first international arrival from Dubai on April 18. This marks the beginning of a new twice-weekly flight schedule between Dubai and RSI, enhancing connectivity for residents along the western coast of Saudi Arabia. With this addition, RSI now facilitates eight regular flights per week, further bolstering its role as a key transportation hub in the region.

John Pagano, the group CEO at Red Sea Global, highlighted RSI's strategic location within three hours flying time of 250 million people and its capacity to serve 1 million guests annually at full capacity. He emphasized the significance of RSI in positioning Saudi Arabia as a top global tourism destination.

Michael White, RSI's chief commercial officer, expressed excitement for the airport's development, emphasizing their commitment to providing exceptional services to passengers and airlines alike as they welcome international travelers and continue expanding their network to serve the Red Sea region and visitors from around the world.
