عمر فاروقؓ کی دعا
امیرالمؤمنین حضرت سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ مدینہ منورہ میں وفات کی یوں دعا کیا کرتے تھے:
اللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي شَهَادَةً فِي سَبِيلِكَ وَاجْعَلْ مَوْتِي فِي بَلَدِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
ترجمہ:
"یعنی اے اللہ! مجھے اپنی راہ میں شہادت اور اپنے رسول کے شہر میں موت عطا فرما۔"
