Act upon these golden lines!

Khan Abdul Ghani Khan (1914-1996), was a philosopher, a poet and an artist. He was a scholar of Pashto language but unfortunately he has lost the worth place in the young generation. He is the John Keats, P.B Shelly and William Shakespeare of Pashto language. He is a pure naturalist, philanthropist and a Sufi. Where he exactly explored the essence of Islam and the living world. Here’s a conversation between him and a Mullah. “Ghani” is also a name in the ninety-nine names of Allah. Sometimes he refers to God. Another nickname, “Lewany/Mad” he labeled himself as Mad because people won’t understand his philosophy and label him as heretic or non-believer.

I asked a Mullah!*
I asked him, O Mullah Sahib*!
What Paradise might be?
He was swirling hand on belly, saying,
“Undried fruits and milky rivers”
Next to him was sitting a Talib*, reading,
I asked O lad, what are your thoughts?
He closed his book like Zulaikha*
White houris’ and green dots* on their faces
Sheikh* along with his Tasbih* was standing,
Swirling hand in his beard.
He jumped in,
“No, no, it’s not alike”
Beautiful Zulfan (Hairs) and heavenly tunes’
Ghani narrated to me the tales of paradise, today,
He said, “There will be houris’ and scholars’”
There will be neither hunger nor thirst,
Neither sorrows nor any servant of landlord”
I said impatiently, “hold on Ghani! Let me ask a question?”
Will to that place be love or just self-obsession,
Ghani tenderly smiled and then said,
“Everyone will have their sweetheart beside them”
“O, God! I look for you as my beloved”

Fakiha Maqsood, a Pakistani girl has recently achieved the highest marks worldwide in examination of ACCA 2021 for the exam of Advanced Taxation (ATX) with a score of 99%. Her outstanding and remarkable performance has made her a Global Star. She belongs to Faisalabad.

According to the official sources, she has also scored the highest marks in an exam of Strategic Business Reporting. However, in December 2020, Fakiha Maqsood was a National Position Holder in ACCA’s Financial Management Examination.

Her brilliant performance in exams and hard work has made her a shining star of the nation. Her academic record has always been bright as she completed her O/A levels from Pakistan with two distinctions in A Levels, in Punjab.

For her higher education she went to UK and graduated with a degree of BSc Hons. Accounting and Finance from University of London. However, this bright young girl scored second highest marks on the entire batch.

According to Fakiha, her father is also a professional accountant and he is the one behind her intellectual mind as due to her father’s discipline integrity, and composure she chooses accountancy as her career path.

Fakiha Maqsood, ACCA Global Prizewinner said, “Having studied in the UK, I knew the global recognition of ACCA and the limitless opportunities this qualification offers and that is why I enrolled myself in ACCA soon after returning to Pakistan.”

As per the reports, her future plans after qualifying ACCA are highlighted, where she wants to play her role in the modernization of textile sector in Faisalabad. Her goal is to use her global expertise, achievements and future-focused insights acquired in ACCA where she wants to help this sector to prepare for the future challenges and revive its global standing as biggest exporting city of the World by embracing digitization, innovation and creativity.

: COVID19 new mutation is giving false negatives in Nasal swaps. The virus is now hitting straight into the lungs. It is carrying no symptoms like fever or cough. Just body ache, weakness, loss of appetite. Patients go from mild condition to extreme life and death situation within 8 to 10 hours. Patients that have previous recovered from COVID19 in last year or so are at higher risk as their respiratory system is still not fully recovered. When they get the new mutation their fatality rate is much higher. We are receiving data from across India and it is not just alarming, it is an absolute disaster of historical proportions. We suspect Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will all now be experiencing the new mutations of virus and face a dire situation just like India. Our colleagues in small towns across India especially North Eastern regions are saying it is a battle we have already lost. It is now damage control and save as many lives as possible. We have seen 400 plus children just in our district die within 10 to 12 hours. Intitial period they showed no symptoms and within hours their oxygen levels dropped and deceased. We have also attended to several patients who traveled into Mumbai from overseas and had received their jabs and ended up contracting the virus and 17 out of 28 have died. Health services both in public and private hospitals have collapsed. Rich, middle class and poor all are affected and it is spreading fast, very fast. Any further mutation or variants will potentially be a doomsday scenario. This is a WARNING go to extreme precautionsfor everyone in your household. From children to elders. This virus is no longer containable in India. Our government and systems have failed. No one could have ever anticipated this. For all other developing countries with weak healthcare systems please note this is beyond all our capacities. Let’s work towards trying to stop the spread even if it means an ironclad lockdown or else the only thing we will have left is a body count statistic that would make the Spanish flu look like a non event.
