🤝 **Strategic Meeting for Youth Empowerment in Kasur**

The GTO Team held a productive meeting with **Prof. Ali Hameed, Deputy Director Colleges, Kasur**, to discuss collaborative initiatives for youth empowerment and awareness.

Good Thinkers Organization and the Higher Education Department Kasur have joined hands to promote awareness of laws, constitutional rights, civic responsibilities, and leadership values among youth. This partnership aims to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence needed to become informed citizens and positive changemakers.

GTO sincerely appreciates Prof. Ali Hameed for his kind support, visionary leadership, and commitment to youth development. Together, we look forward to creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation.

**FCTC Article 5.3 is a critical global safeguard that protects public health policies from to***co industry interference.** To strengthen awareness and action in Punjab, Good Thinkers Organization–Pakistan organized a comprehensive Capacity Building Workshop for NGOs, CSOs, social activists, and community stakeholders on **WHO FCTC Article 5.3** and to***co control policies.
The workshop highlighted how to***co companies often attempt to influence policymaking through corporate social responsibility initiatives, partnerships, lobbying, and indirect engagement. Participants discussed practical ways civil society can help monitor such interference, promote transparency, support enforcement agencies, and advocate for stronger implementation of to***co control laws.
GTO-Pakistan emphasized that NGOs and CSOs in Punjab have a powerful role in protecting communities, supporting evidence-based policymaking, mobilizing citizens, engaging media, and ensuring that health interests always come before to***co profits.
Building an informed and united civil society is essential for creating a healthier, safer, and to***co-free Pakistan.
