STS recently executed geotechnical investigations for the 220/132kV GIS Substation at Gharo, an important step toward elevating the country’s power transmission infrastructure.

The assignment was carried out for National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC), in collaboration with consultants GOPA INTEC, ENMASSE (Pvt.) Limited, and NESPAK, while Siemens Energy led the project as the main contractor.

Our team generated essential subsurface insights that played a key role in designing foundations that are both safe and structurally solid, helping ensure consistent and reliable power delivery.
