To decide how to go for FYP title - i would recommend steps:
a. list your interest areas
b. In your interest areas - see top problems faced by society
c. Make those problems as opportunities to solve in your FYP by using tools of ML & DS
d. For example if your interest area in planes/drones - you can take video feed to autolocate tangos moving in particular terrain or if you like retails you can make customer product recommendation system etc by data analytics.
e. just try to solve real world problem around you that pings you keeping in mind that you would complete scope of it in 1year :)
