Our first experiment in this sub-section involved 2000 bracelets made out of plastic bags at tent-cities setup outside of Karachi after the 2010 floods. The plastic bags in which majority of the donations arrived to these camps usually end up littering the fields, where as at our pilot locations, there was not a single plastic bag to be seen, while the victims returned home with some cash-in-hand.
