Ahead of International Women's Day on 8 March, ICAO joins the UN System in highlighting the importance of gender equality in sectors like and beyond. This day serves as a powerful reminder of our ongoing commitment to advancing gender inclusivity, addressing gender disparities, and driving action through key initiatives and programmes. 💜
Aligned with this year's UN Women's theme, "For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment", ICAO is observing this occasion under the theme "Only Up: For ALL Women and Girls in Aviation", highlighting the contributions of women in aviation, the progress made since the Beijing Declaration, and the importance of accelerating progress in alignment with as outlined in ICAO's Strategic Plan for 2025-2060.
