It is completely unfair when photographers use wedding videos and pictures for their own promotion. A wedding is a private and emotional occasion, not a marketing campaign. Unfortunately, many people have no real sense of how their privacy should be protected, and photographers take advantage of this gap. Just because a couple doesn’t object openly does not mean they are giving informed consent. Using someone’s personal moments without clear permission is an invasion of privacy and shows a lack of professional ethics. True professionals should respect boundaries, ask for explicit approval, and understand that memories are not commodities for promotion.
