Adaptation Fund

Every lasting transformation begins with knowledge, and every informed individual has the power to inspire an entire community.

As the next phase of the PUCCAR Project begins, Shehersaaz has handed over training materials to its Master Trainers and Training Facilitators, preparing them to lead 37 community training sessions across 8 Neighborhood Councils in Nowshera.

These sessions will empower thousands of residents with practical knowledge on water conservation, responsible water use, safe water practices, rainwater harvesting, and the effective management of water resources. Communities will also learn how to maximize the long-term benefits of the rainwater harvesting tanks provided through the collaborative efforts of Shehersaaz, UN-Habitat, and the Adaptation Fund, strengthening local resilience against the growing challenges of climate change.
