There are many different sign languages, And these languages are the medium of communication for and with people who are deaf. This day aims to raise awareness about the importance of sign languages.

Legendary singer, Voice of Pakistani cinema, Allah Rakhi Wasai famously known as 'Malika-e-Taranum' (Queen of Melody) Noor Jehan's birth anniversary is being observed today. The government of Pakistan also awarded her a Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.

Pakistani Woman lawyer Nida Usman Chaudhry has won the renowned Justitia Award 2021 in the international academic category of Austria. She holds LL.B (Hons) and LL.M in Law & Development from the University of London.
