We are delighted to organize and host a 4-day Intensive Training on Applied AI & Data Science for Environmental Sustainability as part of our UKRI funded S2Cool project. This workshop is more than a learning exercise; it aims to build high-velocity AI pipelines that address critical climate and urban cooling challenges.
Over the course of 4 days, our participants will be working under the guidance of our experienced trainers to bridge the gap between research and deployment:
๐ Dr. Muhammad Moazam Fraz โ Building LLM-powered RAG assistants for climate reporting.
๐ Dr. Nazia Pervaiz โ Leveraging Computer Vision and Remote Sensing for heat-risk monitoring.
๐ Dr. Fahad Satti โ Implementing MLOps & LLOps strategies for production-grade AI.
๐ Ms. Sahar Arshad โ Mastering Clean Code and Modular AI Software Engineering.
The Objective: The "CoolSmart Intelligence Platform" โ๏ธ
The training culminates in a capstone project that integrates satellite data with Generative AI to identify urban heat-risk zones and generate evidence-grounded interventions, ensuring that cooling solutions are data-driven and scalable.
