After the successful completion of Mind Over Patterns – 1st Edition last year, we are excited to announce the 2nd Edition of this flagship graduate research event!

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 is an engaging academic platform for MS/PhD students in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering to present innovative ideas and research on the Applications of Pattern Recognition in modern engineering problems. Building on the momentum of last year’s edition, this year’s challenge promises deeper insights, stronger research discourse, and greater impact.

Dr. Baber Khan Jadoon attended a three-day training workshop titled “Programme Evaluators (PEVs) for Level 6–7 Technology Programmes by NTC”, held at National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, from 8–10 December 2025.

The workshop was organized by the National Technology Council (NTC) with the support of the TVET Sector Support Programme, co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany. The training aimed to enhance participants’ capacity in evaluating technology-based academic programmes in line with national and international quality standards.

Participation in this workshop reflects the department’s continued commitment to quality assurance, outcome-based education, and academic excellence.
