The Shimshal Pass Trek is one of the most beautiful and adventurous treks in Pakistan. Surrounded by the majestic Karakoram, it offers breathtaking landscapes and the true spirit of wilderness.
Today while hiking Trail 5 at Margalla Hills, I noticed a lot of garbage left along the trail. These beautiful hills are a shared natural treasure, and it’s our responsibility to protect and respect them.
If you’re hiking here, please carry a small garbage bag, take your waste back with you, and if possible, pick up a little extra litter along the way. Even a small effort can make a big difference.
Let’s hike responsibly and leave the trail cleaner than we found it.
