🌿 Introduction to Fairy Meadows

Fairy Meadows, located in the Diamer District of Gilgit-Baltistan, is one of Pakistan’s most stunning and dreamlike natural destinations. Sitting at an altitude of about 3,300 meters, it serves as the legendary base camp for the Nanga Parbat (8,126 m)—the world’s 9th highest and famously known as the “Killer Mountain.”

This lush green meadow surrounded by pine forests, crystal-clear streams, and snow-capped peaks offers a magical landscape that feels straight out of a fairy tale—hence the name “Fairy Meadows.” The area was declared a National Park in 1995 due to its exceptional natural beauty and ecological significance.
