Ms. Kanza Asad, a qualified Mental Health Professional from Ascend Athletics, conducted an engaging session with students of the ECD Diploma Program at the Rupani Foundation ELM Centre, Zulfiqarabad, Gilgit, focusing on key aspects of mental well-being.
The session covered:
• Understanding mental health and its importance
• Mental health in Early Childhood Development (ECD)
• Awareness of mental illnesses
• The role of physical fitness in promoting mental well-being
This initiative aims to equip future educators with the knowledge and skills needed to support both their own well-being and the mental health of young children.

World Art Day 2026 was celebrated at RF ELM Center Zulfiqarabad, Gilgit, under the inspiring theme “A Garden of Expression: Cultivating Community Through Art.” The day highlighted the power of art as a universal language that nurtures creativity, unity, and cultural appreciation.
Students actively participated in engaging art activities, transforming their ideas and emotions into vibrant expressions. Through their creativity, they not only explored their artistic potential but also contributed to building a sense of community and shared identity.
The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of art in education, encouraging imagination, self-expression, and a deeper connection with the world around us.
