JUI Leadership Reviews Election Preparations as Moulana Fazlur Rehman Plans GB Visit

Islamabad: Senior leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) from Gilgit-Baltistan met party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad to review preparations for the upcoming elections and assess the political landscape.

The delegation, led by the party’s Gilgit-Baltistan ameer and accompanied by key office-bearers, briefed the central leadership on campaign readiness, organisational challenges, and constituency-level dynamics. Discussions focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation and refining the party’s electoral strategy across the region.

Jamiat chief announced plans to visit Gilgit-Baltistan from 19 to 21 May 2026. The three-day trip is expected to include meetings with local leadership, interactions with workers, and public outreach activities as part of the party’s election campaign.
