Acts 2:46-47
[46] Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
[47] praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

"Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined Him in His death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." Romans 6:3-4

*Immersion pictures death and burial. Going down into the water symbolizes the old sinful self dying with Christ. Emerging pictures resurrection. Coming up symbolizes new life in Christ and walking in holiness.

Salvation is not about following traditions, rituals, or simply belonging to a church. True salvation is about knowing God personally through the Lord Jesus Christ. Religion can teach rules, but only a relationship with Christ can forgive sins, change the heart, and give eternal life. 🙏

God did not send His Son so that we would only practice religion, He sent Jesus so that we could be reconciled to Him and walk with Him daily. When a person trusts Christ as Savior, they begin a living relationship with God that continues now and lasts forever.

Christian life is not just attending services it is walking with God, praying to Him, obeying His Word, and growing closer to Him each day.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
