Tikman ang creamy, malinamnam, at garlic-infused tahong na may taba ng talangkaโlutong bahay na pang-restaurant ang dating!
Ingredients:
1 kilo fresh tahong (mussels), cleaned and debearded
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp cooking oil (to prevent butter from burning)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
3 tbsp taba ng talangka (crab fat)
1 tbsp fish sauce or salt, to taste
1 tsp ground black pepper
Optional: chopped chili for spice ๐ถ
Optional: spring onions for garnish
How to Cook:
-Clean and steam the tahong until shells open. Discard those that donโt open. Set aside.
-In a pan, heat oil and butter together. Sautรฉ the garlic until golden and fragrant.
-Add onions and cook until soft.
-Mix in the taba ng talangka and stir well for about 1 minute.
-Add steamed tahong, toss to coat evenly. Season with fish sauce and pepper.
-Let it simmer for 3โ5 minutes until flavors combine.
-Garnish with spring onions or chili if preferred. Serve hot!
