Due to a global crisis, fuel prices have continuously risenโ€”damaging the daily lives and incomes of public transportation drivers. This has ensured a struggle for our tsuperpeopleโ€”a problem they cannot solve on their own.

Even before this crisis, drivers faced daily difficulties; now, those problems have doubled. These are the same drivers who drove countless students, employees, and civilians to and from their destinations. Interviews revealed that tsuperpeople earn very little under the weight of this fuel price hike, an ache that is not only felt by the drivers, but is also felt by their commuters. So, an idea bloomed.

During this crisis, a group of people wanted to initiate a simple act of kindness to help those drivers who are in need. They wanted to show that even a little act of kindness goes a long way.
It all began when two people heard the constant complaints and rants of the drivers while waiting at a terminal, which created a feeling that one cannot completely fathom. And from this, they became determined to help the drivers and pursue helping. They proposed their plan, kindly asked for donations, and reached out to those in need of help.

Along their way, they shared moments of them hoping that more donations would come in, in order to reach more driversโ€”a silent push from the people who wanted to help in their own way. Moments of the tsuperpeople smiling gratefully, even stopping to thank them when they met again

This is a testament to how, amidst a crisis, Filipinos stand with one anotherโ€”continuing to support each other through difficult times. T-SUPER-people standing together.

"An laban kang tsuper, laban kang komyuter"

What began as simple ideas ended up helping 50 drivers across Goa, Tigaon, and San Jose. For those who wish to extend their help, the same group continues to accept donations to support our dear tsuperpeople.
