Kinesthetic Learning Center

The hardest part of any journey is the first step. When a child is paralyzed by a new task, we coach them to ask, "What is the smallest first step I can take?" We use low-demand starts to help overcome the "freeze" of a big project.

When a task feels too heavy, the brain’s Initiation center stalls. We use the trampoline as a "Dopamine Bridge"—a high-intensity reset that refills the brain's tank for the "Grit in the Middle." We aren't just rewarding them; we are coaching the Self-Regulation skill of knowing when to pulse (work) and when to pivot (rest) to keep the "CEO brain" online for the long haul.

To meet a child exactly where they are is the key to unlock their potential. At Kinesthetic Learning, we foster safety and trust so that the child feels respected and understood, showing that we accept all that they are without judgement. By doing so, we are able to see their strengths and the exact starting point that helps map out their journey to achieving realistic and meaningful goals for the home and at school.
