Following Christ is a call to surrender. To deny ourselves means letting go of pride and selfish desires, choosing instead to walk in obedience to Him. Taking up the cross is not a burden but a daily commitment to live with faith, courage, and sacrifice.
True discipleship may be costly, but it leads to life. When we choose Christ above all, we find strength in surrender, renewal in obedience, and hope in His promises.
