✨ PARISH YOUTH CAMP 2026 ✨

"I am lost but now found." — Luke 15:24

What started as a journey of seeking became a journey of belonging. During this camp, we found more than just a place—we found friends who became family, a community that welcomed us with open hearts, and a deeper connection with God through prayer and worship.

This camp was more than an event; it was a place where strangers became friends, friends became family, and hearts found their way back to God. Through worship, fellowship, laughter, and shared faith, we discovered that being found means belonging to a community rooted in Christ's love.

Thank you to everyone who made this Youth Camp a meaningful encounter with Christ and with one another. May the friendships we formed, the lessons we learned, and the faith we strengthened continue to inspire and guide us in our daily lives.

Though the camp has ended, the journey continues. As we return to our homes, schools, and communities, may we carry the light of Christ in our hearts and share His love with everyone we meet.

💙 Once lost, now found. Once seeking, now belonging. Forever growing in faith together.

Sta. Teresa de Avila Parish Youth Coordinating Council

Before every homecoming, there is a seeker willing to be found. There are moments when we feel distant, uncertain, and lost. Yet no matter how far we wander, God's love never stops pursuing us.

This June 5–7, 2026, our journey begins.

The Parish Youth Camp '26 carries the theme: "I am lost but now found." — Luke 15:24

This is a call for every young person to become a Seeker, one who recognizes that despite moments of being lost, God continuously calls them back into His embrace. A journey of becoming "Seekers to be found by the Church fully alive through listening."

Are you ready to be found?

May 30, 2026 | FLORES DE MAYO CHAPEL CULMINATION ACTIVITY 🌸

In the heart of May, we gathered under the loving gaze of our Blessed Mother, and today we celebrate the fruit of that devotion.

On this joyful day, the children gathered for the Flores de Mayo Chapel Culmination Activity, a fitting close to a month filled with faith, growth, and devotion. The celebration began with a short procession and the Flores de Mayo, as flowers were offered to our Blessed Mother, followed by the Holy Mass presided by Fr. Democrito "D**g" Malazarte, SVD. Afterward, each category took the spotlight through their presentations, showcasing everything they have learned and embraced throughout the month. With joyful hearts, the children sang and danced, filling the day with life and praise. Games were shared, laughter echoed, and deserving children were recognized through an awarding ceremony, a celebration of their dedication and growth in faith.

As Flores de Mayo comes to a close, we carry with us not just memories, but a faith that has been watered, nurtured, and brought to bloom by every single person who was part of this journey.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our youth catechists, youth officers, parents (Ate F***y, Bebe and Tata), chapel officers, block leaders, homeowners, CMC, JPIC-IDC, Fr. Arvin Jayma, Fr. Roger Bag-ao and to every hand that continued to provide support in any way they could.

May 29, 2026 | FLORES DE MAYO CULMINATION 💛🤎

Every prayer learned, every lesson embraced, every flower offered — all of it has led to this sacred moment.

On this beautiful day, the communicants made their First Communion, a moment of grace that no words can fully capture. After a whole month of catechesis, of learning, growing, and preparing their hearts, they finally received the sacrament they have been preparing for, carrying with them every prayer they have prayed and every lesson they have taken to heart. Together with the post-communicants, they attended the mass and joined the culmination held at our parish, celebrating not just the end of Flores de Mayo, but the beginning of a deeper and more personal walk with God.

To every child who journeyed with us this May, you have bloomed beautifully in faith.

Day 9:Flores de Mayo🌹

As Flores de Mayo draws to its close, every child carries with them not just lessons learned, but a faith that will continue to bloom long after May.

On the ninth and final day, all groups were put to the test as they took on a quiz covering everything they have learned throughout this journey. It was a moment not just of recall, but of celebration, seeing how far each child has come. The communicants also had their individual overall runthrough of confession, a deeply personal and meaningful preparation as they continue to ready their hearts for the sacraments ahead.

As the day came to a close, all gathered as one before our Blessed Mother, their hearts full of everything they have learned, every prayer they have prayed, and every flower they have offered throughout this beautiful month of May.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible.❤️

Day 8: Flores de Mayo🌸

Through Mary's intercession, every stumble becomes a chance to rise again in grace.

On the eighth day, each group continued to deepen their faith in their own way. The pre-communicants revisited their lessons through a lively recap and interactive games, keeping the joy of learning alive in their hearts. The communicants dove into an important discussion on the two types and four ways of committing sin, growing in their understanding of conscience and the call to live uprightly. The post-communicants brought their journey full circle, reflecting on the meaning and importance of Flores de Mayo, the beauty of the Holy Mass, and the Ten Commandments, capping it all off with a short quiz to celebrate how far they have come.

With grateful hearts and bouquets in hand, the children came together once more, offering their prayers and flowers before our Blessed Mother, carrying with them every lesson, every memory, and every grace of this journey.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible.🎉

Day 7: Flores de Mayo 🌸

Faith is not just remembered — it is carried in the heart, growing deeper with every day.

On the seventh day, each group continued to grow in their own way. The pre-communicants wrapped up all their lessons from the very first day, journeying through the Sign of the Cross, prayers, the seven days of creation, the message of the Archangel Gabriel to Mama Mary, and the meaning of Flores de Mayo. To put their knowledge to the test, they were divided into two groups for a fun and spirited quiz bee. The communicants brought their memorized prayers to life through a puzzle activity, piecing together the words they have taken to heart. The post-communicants dove into the reality of sin, its ways and types, the sacraments they receive, and the grace and importance of a good confession.

And as faith is carried in the heart, so too were the children carried together before our Blessed Mother, where prayers were lifted, flowers were offered, and the Flores was celebrated in love and devotion.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible.🫶🙏

Day 6: Flores de Mayo🌹

Every lesson in goodness is an offering of love to God.

On the fifth day, the children gathered together as one, hearts open and ready to learn. The session centered on understanding sin, and the importance of respect and discipline in their everyday lives. Through a lively game of charades, the children were invited to discern right from wrong, engaging with real life scenarios in a fun and meaningful way. In their laughter and reflection, they learned that living well is itself an act of faith.

All hearts then came together before our Blessed Mother, lifting prayers and offering flowers in the Flores proper, a reminder that however different each journey may be, all roads lead back to her.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible.🫶✨️

Day 5: Flores de Mayo🌸

Where there is faith, there is always a heart willing to learn and to love.

On the fifth day, three classes gathered separately, each continuing their journey of faith. The pre-communicants heard the story of the Archangel Gabriel's message to Mama Mary and her wholehearted yes to God's call. Moved by her example, they responded in their own simple ways through drawing, coloring, and naming the things they would do for God. The communicants met one on one, growing in confidence as they recited their prayers. The post-communicants explored the Divine and Human nature of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit sent by God to guide us in our daily lives.

The day was sealed in prayer as all gathered before our Blessed Mother, flowers in hand and faith in heart, celebrating the Flores as one community, one family in God.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible.🫶
