📢 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭

From May 5–7, 2026, the Municipality of Talibon successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Payout for the Social Pension Program covering the months of April to June 2026 in all barangays of the municipality.

The activity was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) staff who facilitated the verification for the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), and the DSWD FO7 Social Pension staff who conducted the BBMS for all Social Pension beneficiaries.

Through the collaborative convergence efforts of the LGU Talibon, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), PSA personnel, DSWD staff, barangay officials, and partner agencies, the payout was conducted smoothly and orderly to ensure that qualified indigent senior citizens received their financial assistance efficiently.

Special thanks and appreciation are extended to the Disbursing Officers and assisting personnel from the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), and MSWDO for their dedication and support throughout the activity.

We also acknowledge the invaluable security assistance provided by the Talibon PS Bppo and Coast Guard Sub-Station Talibon, as well as the standby medical personnel from the Rural Health Unit (RHU) and Barangay Health Workers who ensured the safety and well-being of all beneficiaries during the payout.

Our heartfelt gratitude is likewise extended to Hon. Janette Garcia, Municipal Mayor of Talibon, for the logistical support extended for the successful implementation of the activity. We also thank all Barangay Officials for providing the venues and assistance and the OSCA Presidents in every barangay for helping maintain order and assisting the senior citizens during the conduct of the payout.

LGU Talibon remains committed to delivering responsive and accessible social welfare services to our senior citizens and ensuring that government programs reach the rightful beneficiaries.
