Mr. Senator, are you seriously saying the President has no idea what’s going on in his own backyard? And mind you, we’re not talking about a few million here — we’re talking billions of pesos. And you expect us to believe this whole thing was supposedly planned by someone young, not even an Executive Secretary, just an Undersecretary? That doesn’t add up. You’re asking us to buy into your narrative. Come on, Mr. Senator. We all know every budget goes through the Office of the President, and he himself said he reviewed it thoroughly before signing off on it.
