"Other things may change us, but we start and end with family."

2020 proved us that time really is gold and that we must never take it for granted. A lot can happen in the span of just a few months or even just weeks. Our lives can change in an instant, regardless of our readiness to accept it. Between my birthday (09-20) and Lyle's (10-09), my Dad-in-law passed on (09-24). Our lives changed forever and we had no say in it.

But no matter how overwhelming 2020 may be, it is not without its few good moments. 2020 gave us more time to spend with family, and we're thankful that we got to spend more time with Dad & the family in 2020 than we did the years prior.

One of the many things that Dad instilled in all of us is that "Family always comes first". It was what made Dad happiest and it's what 2020 has also pushed us all to do. 👨‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👩‍👦
