Dominating the final wave of graduates, the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) produced 1,443 out of the 1,955 completers during the last day of the University of Antique (UA) - Main Campus 77th Commencement Exercises today, July 3, at the UA Tiripunan Hall.

Following CIT's turnout, the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) sent off 190 graduates, followed by the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) with 188, and the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) with 134.

In his speech, Regional Director of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) - Region VI Engr. Arecio A. Casing Jr. stated that the graduates are now the future of the nation, noting how leadership is defined by service to others.

โ€œBeginning today, you become partners in building the future of our republic. Development is ultimately about people. Behind every statistics is a family. Behind every investment is a worker. Behind every economic indicator is a human story. This realization has shaped the understanding on leadership,โ€ Engr. Casing said.

Following the commencement address, the graduates received their respective diplomas and certificates before reciting the Pledge of Loyalty and Alumni Pledgeโ€”officially instating them into the UA Alumni Association.

Moreover, the three-day graduation series kicked off on July 1, previously featuring separate rites for the College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Management and Governance (CMG), and College of Teacher Education (CTE).
