Casa Buen

Panginoon, ingatan Mo ang aming pamilya,
ingatan Mo ang aming tahanan,
at punuin Mo ng kapayapaan ang bawat sulok nito.

Habang dumaraan ang mga sakuna,
panatilihin Mo kaming payapa at matatag
sapagkat ang nagtitiwala sa Iyo
ay hindi Mo kailanman pinababayaan.

In this evocative scene, Robert Buen reimagines the night of the first Passover, a father marking his doorposts with the blood of the lamb as his son quietly watches. It is a moment of both fear and faith, obedience and protection.

As calamity swept through the land of Egypt, this simple act of trust became the line between death and deliverance. Buen’s composition speaks not only of ancient times, but of the present, when storms, sickness, and chaos seem to pass over our own homes and hearts.

The glow of light within the doorway mirrors the promise of Psalm 91: “No disaster will come near your tent.” The father’s faith becomes the covering of his family, reminding us that in every generation, God still spares those who place their trust in Him.
