Last February 6, 2026, Sister Cristina Gorospe received her own endowment in the house of the Lord. ✨

It was a sacred and meaningful day as she made covenants with Heavenly Father and took another step forward on the covenant path. The temple is truly a place of peace, learning, and closeness to the Savior.

Moments like this remind us how grateful we are for the opportunity to prepare and enter the temple. If you’ve been thinking about taking that step someday, we encourage you to keep preparing and praying about it. The blessings are real and personal.

We’re also so thankful for our SR2 family, for the love, support, and encouragement we give one another. It’s a blessing to grow together and celebrate milestones like this.

Last February 6, 2026, Sister Myra and Brother Chino made sacred covenants in the house of the Lord. 🤍

On that beautiful day, they received their own endowments and were sealed together in the holy temple, strengthening the love they already share with eternal covenants.

Their sealing is a reminder that true love is strengthened by faith and that the greatest relationships are built in the house of the Lord. The promises made today reach beyond this life, binding hearts together through priesthood power.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 | 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The youth and primary, with the help of their parents and leaders, set personal goals each year to grow spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually through the Children and Youth Program (CYP). These goals are worked on through home-centered, Church-supported activities throughout the year.

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆!

We warmly welcome 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘇𝗼, who was baptized on 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Brother Rodolfo’s baptism is a meaningful step in following Jesus Christ and choosing to make sacred covenants with Him. We are grateful for his decision and happy to have him as part of our ward family. We look forward to supporting him as he continues to grow in faith and discipleship.

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 🎄

Last 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the Santa Rosa 2nd Ward came together for a cozy Christmas pajama party filled with warmth, laughter, and good company.

The night reminded us that Christmas is about Jesus Christ, His birth, His love, and the light He brings into our lives. Even in a simple gathering, we felt the joy of being together as a ward family and remembering the true meaning of the season.

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — Almost 40 members of the ward volunteered at the Alabang Philippines Temple Open House, serving faithfully from 3 PM to 7 PM. Since it was an open house, many people, members and friends of other faiths, came to learn about the temple and feel its peace.

Throughout the shift, the ward members helped guide guests, offered assistance, and created a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who stepped inside. Their willingness to serve showed their love for the Lord, their respect for His house, and their desire to help others experience the spirit of the temple.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 | 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 ✨

Last 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the Santa Rosa 2nd Ward Youth, together with the leaders, attended the public open house of the Alabang Philippines Temple. It was a meaningful and spiritual experience as the youth walked through the Lord’s house and learned more about the sacred ordinances performed there. Many expressed how peaceful the temple felt and how it strengthened their desire to live worthy of temple blessings.

The activity also helped the youth better understand the importance of temples in Heavenly Father’s plan and inspired them to prepare for future temple worship, whether through doing baptisms for the dead or looking forward to making covenants someday. It was a memorable chance for them to feel closer to the Savior and to appreciate the blessing of having a temple so near in our place.

The public open house runs until December 13, 2025. Come and see why this sacred place is so meaningful to so many.
