Rugby Northeast formed in 2011 after USA Rugby announced that college rugby would be transitioning out of the Union structure (NERFU) and into a conference-based system that more closely resembles traditional inter-collegiate sports. Our D1 All Stars made their debut last weekend at ’s College Women’s All-Star Cup tournament! Talent from across 4 D1 programs came together to make their mark, finishing 7th in the tournament under the leadership of captains Alex Peterson of and Anna Griffiths of . A big thank you to Northeastern’s Maggie Reiss who was lead coach of the side and program.

Congratulations to Bentley University who has received a bid for National Playoffs! They aren’t done yet!!! Because of their great season and growth on the field, they will travel to Canton Massachusetts for a chance to move on from the Sweet 16. They will face off against Endicott on Saturday!! YOUR RNE D1 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS!! Northeastern has proven to be elite once again this season, coming out at the top of their conference. They will head to Obetz, Ohio to takedown Michigan!! Best of luck!! Go show them what you’re made of! Let the dogs out!

RNE D3 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS…ROGER WILLIAMS UNIVERSITY!! Another strong year from the hawks, they were able to come out on top of their conference!

The hawks will head to National Playoffs in Canton Massachusetts this weekend to face off against Fairfield, hoping to continue moving up from the sweet 16 to the elite 8!!! Best of luck ladies!
