➤ Snakes have no external legs, but they can still move with incredible speed and agility, with some species reaching speeds of up to 18 miles per hour!

➤ The world's largest snake species is the green anaconda, which can grow up to 29 feet long and weigh over 500 pounds.

➤ Snakes have a highly specialized sense organ called the Jacobson's organ, which allows them to detect chemical cues, like pheromones and prey scents.

➤ Some species of snakes are oviparous (egg-laying), while others are viviparous (giving birth to live young).

➤ Snakes shed their skin periodically in a process called ecdysis, allowing them to grow and remove parasites.

‎Last November 20, our STE students from Grades 7 to 10 visited the Regional Mobile Science Centrum Exhibit to experience interactive and hands-on learning that sparks curiosity and discovery.

‎The group was joined by their Junior High School science teachers and was led by our school principal, Sir Jaypee Armenion, showing our continued commitment to providing meaningful and innovative learning opportunities for every learner.

‎Yes! Solar flares are vastly more powerful than any bomb ever created by humans. A single large solar flare can release as much energy as a billion hydrogen bombs exploding at the same time.

‎What is a Solar Flare☀️?

‎A solar flare is an intense burst of radiation, or light, on the Sun. These flashes span the electromagnetic spectrum — including X-rays, gamma rays, radio waves, and ultraviolet and visible light. Solar flare can release energy that can reach 10^25 joules—that’s millions of times more powerful than the most destructive bombs ever built on Earth!

‎* The largest nuclear bomb ever built by humans (the Tsar Bomba, 1961) was about 50 megatons. By comparison, a strong solar flare can unleash millions of times more energy.
‎* ⚡ Impact: These bursts of radiation can disrupt satellites, GPS, and even power grids on Earth.
